Here in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, CFpromo has taken a market leadership lead on many products. As a matter of fact, for a number of the more than one million custom promotional products, solutions and colors we have in our arsenal, several products hold a market leadership nationally and a handful in the world. Pretty big stuff for the engine that could based in the Midwest!
Our recent feedback indicates we may be on to another breakthrough in the ever evolving world of branding and marketing with custom promotional products. One of the questions I get asked most often by our ever growing loyal customer base, is to help them find something new and refreshing so they can tout their company in a new and exciting way. Sure we do coffee mugs and pens (with a larger selection, the most professional service in the industry AND at the best price), but CFpromo is more of a technology enhancing/advancing organization with doodles and gadgets of all shapes and sizes lying everyone around our headquarters. Just yesterday in our weekly staff meeting (which we call Wing Thursday) a question was brought up and one of our regional account managers responded with "maybe when pigs fly." Suddenly the room went quiet, and I stepped out to make a phone call. I have several farmer friends here in the Sioux Falls area, so I think the staff is waiting to see which visitor shows up today. You see at CFPromo, "no" is a word we have outlawed unless pertaining to increasing the "wing" order if our meetings go longer.
The moral of the story. We were asked by a customer to try to come up with a way to incorporate two advertising medias into one device. This particular client is a provider of newsletters and mailers to a wide range of customers. However with print media converting to more and more digital media, our customer wanted us to find a way to deliver on both in one product. We thought for awhile and amazed them with a custom promotional web key concept. We literally took a postcard mailer (printed mailed media) and added an embedded USB flash drive (perforated portion of the mailer) so the customer could punch it out, insert the paper flash drive into their computer, and have the sign up form for the company trade show automatically pop on the screen!
I'm fairly certain they thought we were crazy, but we have done web keys for some of the largest brands in the world and the webkey fad is growing quickly. One of the main reasons is cost. BOTH medias in one item cost typically less than $3.00. Add your mailing fee, and you simply have a one of a kind item that delivers a marketing punch like very few products in the world can. If you would like a sample to see for yourself, just let us know as we have made a bunch of them to share with the world using our own layout for CFpromo (see picture above).
Technology wizards right here in Sioux Falls, South Dakota changing the face of the promotional products industry for good? Absolutely. We wouldn’t want it any other way.... (I know that is a song.... the first person to send us the group and name of the song, will win a special prize!)
